Taglit Birthright Israel “Underwater”

This summer saw the first Taglit Birthright Israel "Underwater" trip take place.  This trip was the first of its kind to expose and educate participants about Israel and her marine environment.  A group of 30 Americans were joined by 10 Israelis to experience Israel's wonders under the sea.  They learned "Water Torah" and strengthened their connections to Israel and the marine environment.  A story about the trip appeared in Israel HaYom entitled "Deep Sea Judaism."
