    When we light the menorah we are publicizing the miracle … I want to give a big yasher koach to everyone for publicizing the lights of environmental sensitivity and stewardship!

    I think the whole idea of the oil lasting for eight days connects conservation in general and Chanukah. We should try to use less and make what we do use last longer. We can apply that idea to energy conservation and efficiency, water conservation, etc.
