Organic, Fair-trade Purim Baskets

Kosher treats of my youth included things like Entenmann’s Pop’ems (donut holes), Little Debbie snack cakes, and Stella Doro Swiss Fudge cookies. They weren’t particularly healthy nor were they what we now might call eco-Kosher but we have come a long way since then. The Kosher food served at my son’s Orthodox preschool was almost always Organic and the day school he now attends has a zero-waste lunch day weekly.

If you, like me, are looking for a Purim package that includes Kosher, Organic treats, including fair-trade chocolate, I would like to recommend the Gan Shalom Mishloach Manot. They have great treats, come in an organic cotton bag, and they can be shipped anywhere in the US.
