This is a handout on ways to make your shabbat dinner table more environmentally friendly. It has one quote to open it up to make the connection between Shabbat and environmental responsibility, but is best used in conjunction with more thorough learning on the issue.
Farmer’s Market Scavenger Hunt – Teen
Take your group students on a tour of your local farmer's market.
Procedure:
1. Divide students into groups of 3 - 5 students.
2. Give each group a worksheet, pencil and $15
3. Direct students to fill in the worksheet by looking around the market, talking to shopper and vendors as directed.

Light One Candle Tag
Goal: To think of ways we can each make a personal difference in our lives. To have fun and shake the ‘willies’ out.
Duration: 10 minutes
Materials: Dry erase board; Many dry erase markers
Audience: Grades 3 - 5
Procedure:
